Standing below the Ardd-l_n to Guilsfield road, on the W bank of the canal.
History
Lengthsman's house. c. 1820 and 1840-50.
Exterior
Rendered and lined rendering on brick, slate roof. Two storeys with cellar store facing the canal. Two bays, central entrance within a gabled open timber porch. Double fluted stacks to gables with clayware pots. To rear a stable building with stalls for two horses,and a further attached outhouse.
Boarded up at the time of inspection (August 94).
Reason for designation
One of a number of canal structures at Burgedin on the Montgomeryshire Canal forming a group of special historic interest.
