Small farmhouse, dated 1785. Timber framed with colourwashed panels between stone gable walls, slate roof. One storey and attic, 3 bays, entrance to central bay on S side, with probably original kitchen/hall in the wider bay to right, and parlour, now kitchen, to left.
Exterior
Framing 3 panels high with corner braces to main posts, marked with assembly marks. Wallplate has bridled scarf. Boarded door, 2-light timber windows, and 3 small dormers. Stacks on both gable walls. Over door is the inscription E A I 1785.
Interior
Has chamfered spine beams, and large stack in right bay.
Reason for designation
Included as being an interesting and valuable dated example of the continuing timber framing tradition in Montgomeryshire.
