Mile post or marker, c.1820 for the Montgomeryshire Turnpike Trust. Cast iron. Triangular plan with sloping top rising to rounded back plate. Raised cast lettering reading, on SE face, LLANFYLLIN 5 - M; on NW face: WELSHPOOL 7 - M; and on backplate: LAKE VYRNWY / / 16 - M
