History
Probably C17 Inn remodelled in C18/early C19 and further extended in later C19 and C20.  

Exterior
2 storey rubble stone building with 4-window pebbledashed front. Steep pitched artificial slate roof with rendered end stacks. Mostly 12-pane boxed horned sashes and one 16-pane sash to ground floor. Doorway centre left has decorative surround and leaded moulded hood supported by consoles; later 4 panelled door. Plinth.  

Interior
Now undivided but retains cross beams, one chamfered, and remodelled open fireplaces, to right raised with brick segmental arch but retaining lower moulded stone jambs and later to left infilled with brick and stone but retaining timber lintel.  

Reason for designation
Included for its prominent frontage on Magor Square and group value with neighbouring listed items.
