Exterior
The kiln is built into rising ground and dates probably from the 19th century. It has a frontage of coursed stone, with a segmental-arched eye. The square base of a chimney with circular interior survives on top.

Reason for designation
Though overgrown, this is a good local example of a C19 lime kiln in the area.
