Location
Situated in woods immediately to the SW of the farmhouse, 3.3 km N of Cilcain. Reached from a track running NW off the by road to Rhes-y-cae running N off the A541
History
Probably early C19, the kiln was built to supply the farm with lime for the fields.
Exterior
Rubble circular structure approx. 2m high with flue to rear and arched opening.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well preserved example of a farm lime kiln, the circular form is unusual.
