Location
Situated at the northern edge of the village beside the by road off the A541 which runs through the village.
History
Probably early or mid C19, the kiln was built to supply the farms in the locality with lime for the fields and it was supplied by a quarry on the southern edge of the village to which it was linked by a levelled track.
Exterior
Rubble with squared quoins, approx. 2m high with side flue.
Reason for designation
Listed as a good example of a village lime kiln in a prominent position.
