Wide passage entry to left, and late C20 inserted shop fronts (of unsympathetic character); narrow shop-front in No 39 is a somewhat earlier type (probably early C20), and has stained glass in its upper lights. Upper windows are 12-pane sashes with cambered brick heads. Modillion eaves cornice. Each has 2 dormers in the roof, with segmentally arched heads and 2-light small-paned casement windows, with leaded lights surviving in Nos 38 and 39.
