Built in early C19 in the picturesque style of the Trevalyn Estate buildings in Marford suggesting it had associations with the estate. Extended later C19.

Exterior
Picturesque Gothick fenestration to 2-storey, 4-window, rendered front with rendered chimneys, slate roof and red ridge tiles. Rectangular plan with extensions to side and rear. The Front is symmetrical with added bay to right, string course, dentil eaves cornice. Central full height semi-octagonal bay with entrance with later porch, to left arched window with Gothick glazing detail and label over, to right label as before, window blocked. Upper floor has central window with label, windows to each side blocked. On each side bays have one window per floor with labels over, all windows are cast-iron multipaned casements with Gothick glazing detail and ogee heads. Added 1 bay range to right in matching style but the windows are timber. To left low range is attached and set back. Rear has central semicircular bay and some windows as in front elevation.

Interior
retains some doors with ogee heads and some later C19 fireplaces. Upper floor has plank and latch doors with strap hinges. Service accommodation of late C19 date has original narrow stairs and rooms with plank partitions over a dairy/coldroom.

Reason for designation
