Situated on hillside W of main road, down short drive running N from Tanybryn.
History
Mid C19 large village house, possibly built as two, and intended as a terrace. Not marked on 1840 Tithe Map.
Exterior
Sandstone rubble, formerly stuccoed or roughcast, with slate roof, bracketted eaves and stone stacks. Three-storey, four-window range of 12-pane sashes with painted stone lintels. Centre two bays closer spaced. Door in third bay. End walls have external chimney breasts and fireplaces for intended additional houses.
Reason for designation
Included as an unusual early Victorian three-storey house of regional type, grouping with Tanybryn in views W off main road.
