Mid/late C19 cast-iron milepost made by the Eagle Foundry, Aberystwyth. This section of road was managed by the Aberystwyth Turnpike Trust, which was set up in 1770.  

Exterior
Cast-iron milepost with two-faced angled front, bevelled to sloping top. Left side reads: The right side reads: TEMPLE BAR LLANBYTHER 7 1 MILES MILE Base signed: Eagle foundary Co., Aberystwyth.
