Location
Located at the end of a narrow trackway which runs parallel with the River Mule, 0.8Km SE of Abermule Village.
History
Early C19; shown on the Llandyssil Tithe Map of 1839. Possibly at one time two small dwellings.
Exterior
Small whitened brick cottage under a slate roof with brick gable stack to S. (A north gable stack may have existed previously). Saw tooth dentilled course. Small lean-to at N end. Two storey, 2-window range. Multi-pane casement windows rising to eaves in upper storey. Matching windows below under segmental brick heads, except for one casement which has been replaced. To the left of each is a planked door under a segmental brick head. Panelled door to front of lean-to under timber lintel.
Interior
No access to interior at time of inspection.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well preserved example of a small early C19 vernacular brick dwelling.
