The monument stands in the enclosed graveyard approximately 4m S of the S wall of the chapel.

Exterior
Of sandstone. A square die raised over two steps, with base and necking mouldings and a large cavetto capital carved with bold anthemion. The cornice over has an egg moulding, and is weathered on top to a crowning lidded urn.
Inscribed on the sides to the memory of William, son of William Jenkins, minister of this chapel, d.1830, to children Thomas and Ebeneser, to which is added the Rev Hopkin Jenkins, d.1887 and his wife. Also other members of the family.
Reason for designation
Included as a fine example of a Regency style graveyard monument. The Jenkins family were at the centre of the movement to establish the chapel in this valley.
