Location
In the farmyard of Llawhaden House, about 50 m SW of the dovecote, forming the S side of a yard of which the cowhouse forms the N and E.

History
A mid-C19 building: not shown on the 1839 Tithe Plan but appearing on the 1888 Ordnance Survey. It shows signs of having been raised in height. It was probably originally a cowshed, and more recently a milking shed. A small annexe was built at the N side for milking equipment.
Exterior
Building in rubble masonry, with a slate roof and tiled ridge. Three heck-doors at the N side and two windows. Lean-to annexe at NE corner.
Interior
Roof consisting of common collar-beam trusses, in 12 bays. The last bays at E and W are half-width.
Reason for designation
Listed for Group Value with Llawhaden House and as part of a complete mid C19 farmstead.
