Situated on N bank of Leri some 300m W of Talybont Bridge, approached by footpath and footbridge only.
History
Mid C19 woollen factory, part of the extensive Leri or Lerry Mills complex, dated 1858 on water-wheel.
Exterior
Rubble stone with slate roof, single-storey long industrial building. Five windows to river all cross-mullioned, small-paned, timber with iron glazing bars. E end has 13' undershot iron wheel made by Samuel Owens of Newtown in 1858. Door to right with timber lintel, and window with brick head above wheel. W end centre door with brick head and casement pair window to left, timber lintel.
Reason for designation
An unaltered C19 woollen mill, dramatically-set in the Leri gorge.
