Location
Immediately inside the gate of the burial ground in front of the Tabernacle Baptist Chapel. The chapel is about 2.5km north of Forest Coal Pit.

History
Table tomb probably dating from very soon after the first recorded death in 1862.
Exterior
Fine grained sandstone slab carried on four cast iron legs. The legs are ribbed and taper from fluted feet to caps. The slab has a central ridge and is hipped to the corners. It has a moulded edging. Incised lettering on the four faces, the oldest inscription to Margaret Davies, died 1862.
Reason for designation
Included as an unusual example of a Victorian table tomb having group value with the adjoining chapel and minister's house.
