Forming the E side of the farmyard at Ty Mawr, at right angles to the cart shed, the farmyard being situated across the lane from Ty Mawr house.

Large 7 bay barn of stone rubble with Welsh slate roof extended as a hood to large double doorway, aligned NW/SE; one row of ventilation slits to side and 3 to gable end; battered end right, and end left has loft and door openings at higher level corresponding to higher ground level. Cartshed range to N separately listed; long byre range to S now derelict.
Interior
Interior has flagged threshing floor, simple tie beam trusses apparently a later replacement.
Reason for designation
Included as an integral part of the Ty Mawr farm complex.
Group value with the farmhouse and other farm buildings, also with Ty Canol and the church of St Mary.
