Almost opposite Old Custom House.
Exterior
Two storeys; four windows. Italianate commercial building. Yellow brick with extensive grey freestone dressings. First floor has entablature supported by Corinthian pilasters; round-arched windows with keystones; sash glazing; balustrades below end windows. Ground floor articulated by Roman Doric pilasters; to each end, on ground floor, round-arched doorways, double-leaf panelled doors; camber-headed windows
to centre.
Interior
Good C19 staircase to L entrance hall. Some ground floor rooms retain cornices and panelled doors.
Reason for designation
Well-preserved commercial buildings within conservation area.
