History
Telephone call-box of the K6 design by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, first introduced by the GPO in 1936. This one of before 1953, made by the Carron Company, Stirlingshire.
Exterior
Telephone call-box, red-painted cast-iron kiosk with two glazed sides and wooden door with matching glazing. Glazing is in horizontal panes with narrow marginal panes. Raised plinth, raised surrounds to windows and doors and shallow-domed top. Top has illuminated lettered panels each side, under lunettes with George VI crown.
