Lychgate at the Church of St Sannan
Location
Located at the entrance to the churchyard of St Sannan, c40m SW of the church. The lychgate is set back from the N side of the A544 in the centre of Llansannan.

History
Late C18, contemporary with the partial rebuilding of the adjacent church in 1778.
Exterior
Rubble stone archway with slate covered pitched roof over.
Interior
The wall heads are corbelled inward to support the roof which has a a single pair of rough chamfered purlins.
Hung within the lychgate are a pair of modern timber and ironwork gates.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with the church of St Sannan and as a simple lychgate with vernacular character.
