Period

History
The former vicarage of Llansadwrn, until the 1920s. Probably built in the late C18 or early C19, marked on 1839 Tithe Map, and extended 1897-8 when £199 was spent.

Exterior
Former vicarage, colourwashed roughcast with slate close-eaved roof (with 3 inserted roof lights) and roughcast end stacks. E front has early C19 2-storey, 3-window range to right, of horned 12-pane sashes and centre door (in C20 glazed lean-to). Addition to left, probably late C19, has slightly lower roof, left end stack and 4-pane sash above, over ground floor French window. Rear of house has a hipped stair tower projecting, a C18 feature, but possibly here the result of alterations (C20 windows to each floor). This tower has added lean-to on S side with chimney and one sliding sash window above door.

Interior
Centre passage, 2-room plan to original house, rear passage behind left room to reach late C19 addition. Blocked rear window in passage. Detail mostly of early to mid C19, bulbous newels to dog-leg stair, panelled doors, collar-truss roof.

Reason for designation
Included as a late Georgian vicarage still retaining original features.
