Location
The house stands just beyond the SW side of the churchyard, fronting the main road running along the NW side of the Dyfi valley.
History
The house was probably built in the late C18.
Exterior
The house is constructed of local rubble stone and whitewashed, with a slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays, approximately symmetrical with a central boarded door, and 2-light 6-paned windows to each bay, and 4-paned to the first floor, including over the door. Gable end stacks with drip courses.
Reason for designation
Included as a larger farmhouse of the later C18-early C19 constructed in a village setting, well preserved externally, of a type which appears to have set the pattern for later substantial houses of the village.
