The pigsty range is set at right angles at the N end of the long cowhouse range, NW of the house.

History
Built probably in the C19 at the same time as the main farm range.
Exterior
Built of rubble stonework, with a continuous slate roof. A range of four pig sties aligned E-W, facing the main farm building range. Each sty has an opening on to a walled run on the S side, and each run has its own gate opening to the S side driftway passing the N end of the farm range. At the SW corner there is a large monolithic stone basin, with another large stone basin in the centre of the farmyard still fed by a water leet.
Reason for designation
Included as of group value within the unusually planned farmstead group belonging to the gentry house at Penrhyn-dyfi.
