Location
Perfeddnant stands back from the minor road from Bryn Crug to Llanfihangel. The farm buildings stand some 30m W of the farmhouse.

History
The hay barn is an addition to the farm buildings, probably built in the early-mid C19.
Exterior
The open-sided building of two bays is constructed with circular rendered rubble-built columns and a gable wall at the W end. Slate roof. The columns support softwood tie beam trusses, the principals crossed at the apex to carry a ridge-piece and a single purlin, the gable end remaining open.
Reason for designation
Included as a type of hay barn characteristic of the area, and intimately linked to the sub-medieval farm building, together forming a group of strong vernacular character at Perfeddnant.
