K6 type telephone box designed in classical style by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, architect of London. This box has embossed George VI crowns dating from 1936 onwards.
Exterior
Squre red cast-iron kiosk with domed top and small-pane glazing. Door to front under red-lettered opals and raised crowns. Moulded plinth. Foundry plate to rear is not visible.

Standard interior with modern handset bearing the number (01443) 226373.
Reason for designation
Within a heritage location comprising the Miskin conservation area and close to various listed buildings surrounding the War Memorial in the square.
