History
Lychgate erected in 1892 as a memorial to Mary Curre, died 1890 and inscribed for same.
Exterior
Constructed of red sandstone and oak with a tiled roof. Low walls of squared sandstone rubble support oak plates which carry four posts. These carry a gabled roof of steep pitch with bargeboards and pendants. Brattished bressumer beam with an inscription in relief letters. Double oak gates with steps leading up to the churchyard.
Reason for designation
Included as a well-defined memorial lychgate of 1892 erected by a prominent local family.
