History
Wayside cross, 1926, made by T.Guy Clarke of Llandaff, suggested and paid for by G.G.T. Treherne, who died in 1923, and is therefore commemorated on the cross.
Exterior
Celtic cross, sandstone, some 3m high on 3 steps of rock-faced grey limestone. Roll-moulded angles, carved crucified Christ on cross-head, inscription `Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by' on the roadside front of shaft, and inscription 'To G.G. T. Treherne erected 1926', on rear.
Reason for designation
Included as a finely carved memorial cross, of group value with the parish church, lychgate and churchyard cross at Eglwys Cymun.
