Ty Isa is recorded on the Tithe Survey, 1839, under Henblas, then owned by Robert Jones and occupied by William Jones. The occupier of Ty Isa is not separately identified.
Exterior
A single-storey cottage in local stone, measuring approximately 3 metres wide by 4½ metres long.
Reason for designation
A rare survival of a minimal poor cottage, which is believed to have escaped recent alteration and to have retained its character.
