Location
The farmyard at Gronant is reached via a long surfaced drive leading E off the A5025 N of Llanfachraeth. The cartshed is on the left (W) immediately on entering the farmyard.

History
Built probably mid C19. Shown on 1887-88 OS map. The building is characteristic of 'improvement period' farm building on Anglesey.
Exterior
3-bay cartshed range; rubble walls with pitched roof of profiled iron sheeting, hipped to S and gabled to N. Three wide cart bays with segmentally arched brick heads.
Reason for designation
Listed as a good mid C19 cartshed (notwithstanding loss of original roof covering), which together with the corn barn and hammels form an important part of the farmyard group at Gronant.
