Standing to south of the walled gardens west of Plas-yn-Iâl farm buildings.

History
Probably C17. It is clearly a pair with the 'Roman' and the two probably served originally as ornaments on either side of the approach to the house. They now stand in or near the remains of the walled garden.
Exterior
A sculpture of a near-naked barbarian wearing a lion skin. The figure has a wrinkled face and is balding but has a full beard and moustache. He stands on an octagonal base of two steps. The lower arms and a leg were carved separately and fixed with iron dowels, but have become detached.
Reason for designation
A very unusual sculptural ornament listed also for group value with Plas-yn-Iâl house.
