History
A well which from its apparent association with Dyserth Hall may be of C16 or C17 date; the stonework is plain and undateable. The well is marked on the 1871 Ordnance Map.
Exterior
The well is enclosed in a stone structure about 3 m wide, over 1 m in depth and height, much overgrown and rubbish-filled, probably with a stone slab roof (not verifiable). The walls are about 400 mm thick. Opening at right 500 mm wide, formerly with a grille or a gate. Two steps down to interior.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well-preserved traditional roadside well and for group value with Dyserth Hall.
