Prominently located against the boundary fence opposite the main pedestrian entrance to station. One of a small group of historic buildings at the railway station, about 1km south-east of the Town Hall.

History
K6 type kiosk to the standard design of Giles Gilbert Scott, architect of London. Design introduced by GPO in 1936, this example dating from after 1952. Embossed foundry plate: ''Carron Foundry, Stirlingshire''.
Exterior
Square, red kiosk of cast iron construction. Domed roof with four lunettes containing Queen Elizabeth II crowns over red lettered opals and ventilation slits. Raised surrounds to door and sides with marginal glazing bars to horizontal (perspex) glazing. Blank rear, plinth.
Reason for designation
Included as a K6 telephone call-box in a heritage location in the forecourt of the listed railway station.
