History
Early C19 lofted twin-bay cartshed
Exterior
Coursed grey pennant rubble masonry. Gently pitched corrugated sheet metal roof, originally stone tiled. Two cart bays. Timber lintels supported at centre by circular tapering rubble column. Loft opening below at right. The rear elevation is blind but the straight joint to the left shows clearly how it has been added to the existing Malt House.
Interior
Four strut tie beam truss made up of re-used C17 timbers.
Reason for designation
Included as a well preserved example of a C19 cartshed having good group value with the farmhouse and the listed farmyard buildings.
