History
Probably early C19 and contemporary with the house. The wall is shown on the 1829 town plan.
Exterior
An L-shaped rubble-stone wall 3-4m high, curved at the angle. It has 2 inserted vehicular openings on the N side, adjoining a former coach house and stables at the rear of No 4 Castle Street (now converted to a dwelling known as the Mews). On the E side facing the castle it abuts another former outbuilding behind No 2 Castle Street, described in 1829 as offices but now much altered and also converted to a dwelling.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special interest as a C19 boundary wall that contributes to the setting of Beaumaris Castle and to the historical integrity of No 2 Castle Street.
