History
The church fabric is medieval, but was extensively restored in 1869. There is said to be a blocked doorway in the N wall of the nave, but the church is now disused, and the exterior overgrown with vegetation.
Exterior
Gothic church in grey-brown stone, slate roof. Nave, lower chancel, S porch. East and W windows with Y-tracery; single window to N and S sides of nave, also with Y-tracery. Gabled S porch with benches, simple boarded door. At W end, square bellcote, embattled, corbelled out from W gable.
Interior
Aisleless nave, A-frame roof to nave. Nave has box pews. Flanking simple chancel arch, there is a wooden panelled reading desk, and wooden polygonal pulpit.
Reason for designation
Simple rural church retaining medieval fabric.
