Location
On the W side of St Mary's Street some 30m S of the junction with St George's Street.
History
One of a row of 3 3-storey houses of early to mid C19 date. The open pedimented doorcases are similar to the one on Vine Cottage, St Mary's Street. A building shown on this site on map of Tenby of 1849. Occupied in 2001 by Tenby Royal British Legion.
Exterior
End-terrace house, painted roughcast with slate roof and nogged brick eaves cornice. Three storeys, 1-window range with doorway to right. Square window with C20 casements (originally 9-pane sash) on 2nd floor, 12-pane sash window on 1st floor and large sash window to ground floor, originally 12-pane, the lower half without glazing bars. Flight of steps flanked by C19 railings leads up to arched doorway in open-pedimented timber doorcase with thin columns and entablature blocks and panelled reveals. C20 door, formerly 6-panel, and plain fanlight. Area railings have fleur-de-lys finials, partly replaced in C20.
Interior
Passage to left, narrow front room to right. Stairs to rear at right angles, much boxed in but with plain square newels and original ramped rail. Large C20 additions to rear.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a uniform terrace of three late Georgian houses with good surviving detail.
