The Preaching Cross is located some 10 metres south of church porch, within fork of paths, built into sloping ground.

History
Medieval preaching cross; exact date uncertain.
Exterior
Prominent preaching cross, with large square base consisting of four steps with slab copings ; in SE corner, second and third steps are angled. Large square ashlar socket stone with hollow chamfer. Reset short section of red sandstone shaft, octagonal in section, surmounted by broad crucifix finial, which is chamfered out both to short arms and thick moulded top.
Reason for designation
Listed as a prominent medieval preaching cross: group value with parish church.
