History
1900. On interior S wall of the lychgate is a stone memorial tablet to Joseph Richard Cobb and dated 1900
"To the glory of God, lived 1821-1897, Joseph Richard Cobb, to whose memory this gate is erected by his wife and children 1900".
Exterior
Lychgate contructed from two parallel walls of stone with gabled timber superstructure (arcaded to sides) with cusped bargeboards and with stone slate roof on NE to SW axis. Two sets of iron gates. Lychgate linked to the Almonry (S) by a low stone wall with coping; railings with spear-headed finials with, at intervals, square standards with urn finials. Short stretch of similar wall to N.
