At W end of Priory Bridge.
Exterior
House. Stone faced in stucco. Half-hipped slate roof. North elevation (facing road) of two storeys and attic, four bays with central gable with semi-circular headed small-pane sash window with radiating tracery in attic storey. On first floor, three 12-pane sash windows and blind opening at left-hand end. On ground floor, sash window four panes wide at left-hand end, six panelled door with plain rectangular fanlight and three-light mullioned window in two centre bays in shopfront casing of pilasters, fascia and cornice; four-panelled door with small fanlight in right-hand end bay. Small forecourt enclosed by low retaining wall of stone and C19 railings. South elevation with two-storey canted bay window overhanging River Honddu; sash windows with glazing bars; sash window also to attic storey. North elevation has 9-pane sash window to attic; small sash window on second floor towards rear; on ground floor, a doorway, a 12-pane sash window, and small sash window towards rear.
Reason for designation
Late C18 building retaining its character with Group Value with other buildings in Priory Hill, Priory Bridge, and rear of buildings in The Struet.
