Exterior
History: Largely the early C19 remodelling of an earlier building, with some later C19 modifications. Exterior: Painted brick with slate roof with red tiled cresting and gable end stacks; stone to rear wall. 2 storeys, 2-unit plan with central entrance: renewed doorway in reeded architrave with long console brackets to entablature hood. Flanking windows are 12-pane sashes to ground floor, and long 15-pane sashes to first floor. Plain eaves band. Cast iron railings enclose a small forecourt: enriched fleur-de-lis finials to railings and principle posts, with similar gate. A well-preserved example of an early C19 small town house.
