C19 octagonal stone sundial shaft. The dial (missing in 2005) was described in 1983 as being inscribed with the name of Maurice Lloyd (possibly the Rev Maurice Lloyd, rector 1831-73, but the name Maurice was common in the family) and with the makers' name - W & S Jones, 30 Holborn, London.
Exterior
Sundial shaft, grey sandstone ashlar, Tudor style. Octagonal shaft with long rectangular sunk panels each face, ogee-moulded base and moulded cap. Flat top with marks of missing sundial.
