History
C17 timber framed lobby entry plan house, refronted in brick later C18.
Exterior
3-storey, 4-window, whitewashed Flemish bond front. Bands at floor levels. Raised eaves giving gently pitched slate roof. Saw toothed eaves cornice. Central panelled brick stack, new cap. 2 and 3 light small paned iron casement window under eaves to 2nd floor. Similar transomed windows to 1st floor of 3 lights each flanking dummy with 2 light window over carriageway. Cambered heads, shallow reveals, similar heads to modern leaded windows ground floor. Moulded canopy to open timber porch, brick footings. Plank door. Later carriageway to right, timber lintel. Timber framed gable end and rear elevations. Square panels, brick nogging. Upper panels later. Modern extension to ground floor.
Interior
Axial beams roughly chamfered.
