Located towards the lower end of Yr Allt, a steep narrow cobbled lane which runs S between the church and the castle.

History
Shown as two adjoining structures on the Llantrisant tithe map of 1841. The rear wing is a later addition.
Exterior
The stable range to the L of the cottage is of rubble stone under a corrugated asbestos roof. Panelled door to R under a segmental head of stone voussoirs. Offset to the L, to the upper storey, is a loft doorway, now boarded, rising to the eaves and with yellow and red brick jambs. A concrete plinth is set in front. Late C20 flat-roofed extension against N gable end. Rear not visible at time of inspection.
