Probably C15 in origin but much rebuilt in the C20 and with the present cross added in c1975. The cross is dated 197?; the last figure of this is covered over.
Exterior
Built of local limestone rubble with a bronze cross. Four roughly constructed steps of diminishing squares. Medieval socket stone. Tall bronze cross with twisted barley-sugar shaft and quatrefoil head. The shaft is signed and dated 197?
Reason for designation
Included as a partly medieval cross with strong group value.
