Two Bath stone statues in bastion-type corners of the enclosed S garden at Llantarnam Abbey, rebuilt 1834-6 by T.H. Wyatt for R.J. Blewitt. Exterior
Two statues, slightly less than life size, Bath stone, on conglomerate rough rock pedestals, one of a medieval pilgrim with tunic, hood and staff to SE and other of a soldier in C17 armour with sash, plumed helmet and gun, to SW.
Reason for designation
Included as part of the garden setting of Llantarnam Abbey.
