Beside the path from St Garmon's Lychgate to the church.
Exterior
An octagonal baluster-shaped sandstone pillar standing on a rough stone circular base, with steps, carrying a bronze dial and gnomon. The dial in inscribed with the name of a Shropshire maker. The top edge of the stone is damaged but the date appears, facing south.
Reason for designation
A good dated C18 sundial, including a carved pillar and still carrying a dial plate, and known to have been in its present position since at least the mid C19; listed also for group value with St Garmon's church.
