ca 1870's?, contemporary with Nos 13 to 16 (no break in the brickwork), shown on 1887 map. Foundry House was possibly built as the foundry Manager's house.

Exterior
2-storey and basement 5-window red brick front with blue brick banding and plinth. Hipped slate roof with bracket eaves and blue brick chimney stacks. Cambered openings with blue and red brick gauged voussoirs; the ground floor windows are offset to the right and there is one blocked opening at left end. Horned 4-pane sash windows and two half glazed doors, one to extreme right end. Hoods over basement windows. Brick right end. 3-storey, 2-window left end including the 1-window No 17. The Foundry House windows (mainly sash) are deeper and that to the ground floor is a 12-pane casement beside half glazed door; 6 and 12-pane sashes to N 17 with 4-panel door. Both forecourts have contemporary iron railings arched at the top as on Nos 1 to 16. These sweep up around the corner and step up to run along the front of Foundry House and Gorn View.
