History
War memorial of c. 1920, made by Edwards and Lewis of Haverfordwest and similar to the one at Neyland.
Exterior
War memorial, white marble truncated short obelisk with draped top. Carved relief at foot of oak leaves and broken cannon extending onto coved plinth. Set on square pedestal itself on coved plinth on square base. Inscription on front of shaft reads 'IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THE MEN OF MERLINS BRIDGE AND DISTRICT WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR' followed by 8 names and 'GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS'. On the left side is '1939 - 1945', 'WORLD WAR II' AND 3 names.
