Location
Approximately 1.2km SW of Beguildy, reached by farm track through Pantycaregle Farm on the W side of the B4355.
History
A late C18 or early C19 house shown on the 1846 Tithe map. Uninhabited in the final quarter of the C20.
Exterior
A 2-storey 2-window house of rubble stone with corrugated iron roof, gable stack to the L with brick shaft, and brick ridge stack. Openings are under flat stone arches and comprise 4-pane sash windows and a central boarded door. A lean-to set back to the R gable end has a brick segmental-headed door and a window with boarded shutter. Behind is a continuous outshut under a catslide roof. Against the L gable end is an open-side shed on timber posts.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special architectural interest as a late Georgian house retaining original character.
