Milestone on turnpike road from Llangurig to Aberystwyth via Devil's Bridge, for which trust was established in 1770. This section of road became part of the new road of 1812 to Aberystwyth via Ponterwyd.

Milestone, whitewashed stone with curved top inscribed 'Aberystwyth 14 miles', the town name in capitals following curve, 'Miles' in lower case under numeral. Similar to 11, and 12 mile stones.
